CRD 2500 is a high power line conditioner with microprocessors controlled double circuits. One of the circuits, including its isolating transformer and voltage stabilizer, powers two 600W parallel sockets for the final amplifier.
The other circuit, also with its isolating transformer and voltage stabilizer, powers eight 150W sockets for all other system equipment and accessories.
The existence of two different circuits overrides the possible negative influence of high power sockets’ voltage absorbance over low power sockets’ output voltage. Input voltage is filtered through one single Nightingale’s filter. Output sockets are powered by an equal number of secondary wraps (and are therefore galvanically isolated one from the other) and are individually filtered. The presence of numerous sockets has the objective to power all A/V equipment, and at the same time avoid that they negatively affect each other.
The digital display located on the front panel shows the values of input and output voltage for each circuit.
Chassis is manufactured in silver or black anodized aluminum.
