The line conditioner is an essential part of a hi end system, since it enables each component of the system to achieve always its maximum performances, under any condition.
The CZ-3000 line conditioner performs the following functions:
-
Filtering of the power supply
A specially designed low-pass filter ensures an attenuation of 28 dB @ 1 KHz and then increasing to 60 dB at 100 KHz ÷ 1 MHz.
-
Galvanic insulation
An insulating transformer, largely oversized, has four separate secondary coils for four output sockets. In this way a galvanic insulation of the units connected to the conditioner from the mains and each other is achieved. Additionally the ground loops are eliminated.
-
Output filtering
Each individual outlet is equipped with its own filter, optimized to eliminate the noises in the highest frequencies. As a result, a very efficient de-coupling of the units among themselves, and a very good overall protection against the noises of any frequency are achieved.
-
Voltage stabilization
The voltage at the four galvanically insulated sockets is stabilized with a precision of ±2.5%, when the input voltage is in the range of ±10%.
-
Controls
A display on the front panel shows the input and output voltage. An electronic device disconnects the output sockets when the input voltage goes out of tolerance ±13%, so protecting the equipment.
A special device protects the conditioner’s circuits from overvoltage.
-
Performances
Four of the six output sockets are stabilized and insulated from the mains and among themselves by the insulating transformer.
One of them supplies 175 VA; the other three sockets supply 100 VA each.
Finally the two not insulated sockets (but filtered anyway) can supply 3000 VA in total.
